Great café in the best location. Ate the sausage with fried potatoes. It was excellent. I haven't eaten a better sausage yet. Really juicy and spicy. 1A quality. You have to try it! The staff was very attentive and friendly. Was a very good decision to go there. Always my pleasure!

Best café in the area. Fantastic location, right on the lake with a view of this. The cakes deserve an award, just great. There are also warm dishes, something for every taste. The staff is very friendly and fulfills every need. Will definitely be back anytime.

Food (goulash stew) very good French fries were a bit light but otherwise everything for the best can be recommended

Nice little cafe right on the Schluchsee. Friendly staff. Good selection of hot drinks and delicious cakes. There is also a range of hot dishes, such as Currywurst / French fries. You can sit outside or inside with a view of the lake. Unfortunately the apple strudel was a bit small for the price. The cake pieces were large and the coffee / latte macchiato delicious. Therefore still 5 stars and a clear recommendation.

Beautiful location and view. The staff is friendly. The prices are mediocre, the decor is okay. I would definitely recommend it for a beer or cake.

The best cheesecake in the region - definitely try it :) Service extremely friendly and always put a smile on your face. Regardless of whether it is a short rest and a coke or a real feast, you will always be well looked after.

Wonderful lil restaurant - superb staff, hearty meals, and the best blackforest cake I had on the trip ! Definitely recommended for a nice rustic meal or cup of tea and dessert looking at the Schulsee

Nice place, they didn't have potatoe salad so they gave us bread that was not fresh instead. But on the all around it was good food. They have a really nice view of the lake

Bad food! Dirty tables! Bad service! And, to top it all, you cannot pay by card and they won't tell you this when you sit down! I don't think there's a worse place in all the Black Forest! The apple strudel (Apfelstrudel) was made of a soggy crust and a filling of old apples with a sugar jelly, and the coffee was little more than a bad tea. Underneath the pile (yes, pile!) of ice cream and whipped cream - I had better ice cream 30 years ago under a communist regime! - that accompanied the Apfelstrudel, there was a wafer that became disgustingly soggy with the ice cream melting on top of it. I don't know how the whipped cream was because it was already liquid when they brought me the plate. Hours after leaving I still felt the aftermath of that Apfelstrudel and that coffee. It is also hard to understate the boredom of the two waiters, the negligence of their outfits and the attitude close to spite that they had. Even with two waiters, plenty of tables were uncleaned at all times and full of plates and food from previous customers (a treat for birds, really), stained with grease, and filled ashtrays were everywhere, on the tables and on the ground(!). We asked for the bill and after waiting for more than 10 minutes, we decided to go inside and pay. But the ordeal was far from over! We could not pay by card, and we were not told this before we sat down, probably in a dishonest attempt to have us stay and order. At the end, one of us had to walk across town to and ATM so that we can pay. FYI, the trip there and back is about 20 minutes, just in case you find yourself in a similar situation... All in all, it was the worst experience we had that day! To avoid at all costs!

Food ok but not great. Service is slow. The location and the view of the lake are great

If you are looking to eat cake this place is it! The Black forest cake is out of this world! The slice was enormous and absolutely delicious! They had a large selection of other cakes - apple strudel, cheese cake (two types) and various others. The restaurant itself (decor and ambience) is nothing to write home about, but the service from the young waitress was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our dog got a bowl of water and was offered a treat and there is a spacious sun terrace with view of the lake.

Food was greasy, small schnitzel and poor asparagus. Found a hair in the potato which was totally off putting.
